    New camera, more autumn color

Received a new sony a6000 with kits lens (16-50 f3.5-5.6) last week, was able to get out and play with it over the weekend. So far I really like the camera, takes some getting used to with the EVF, new menu system and different button layout but that just takes time. The lens is pretty sharp I think but its pretty slow and has its limitations as you might expect but its no dog either.

    A good reflection scene, Chris.

The A6000 kit is a good combination that is small enough to always have with you, and prints from it look OK at least up to A4. I was considering getting one of those advanced compact cameras, e.g. Lumix LX100, but the Sony was cheaper and more versatile - by attaching a cheap adapter from eBay, any one of my Pentax lenses is easy to use on it manually.

    Cheers.
