WiFi SD card or tethering
Hello all,
I have a question. I shoot with Sony; an a900 & a77 neither has WiFi. I just ordered a Toshiba WiFi SD card for the 77, http://www.adorama.com/TOPFW016UB.html Is there a set up for Sony where one can tether the camera to a laptop or tablet to get a live view. Something similar to Canon or Nikon?
Thank you.

Re: WiFi SD card or tethering
I have the EyeFi card and it is so slow to download anything I only used it with my 5MB point & shoot camera. I have not tried the Toshiba card personally, but have heard through the grapevine that it is no better than EyeFi; i.e. not useful for serious shooters.
Unless you have the Sony A77 II, I suspect you are out of luck as Lightroom only supports Canon, Leica and Nikon for tethered shooting and Phase One Capture One requires the updated version of your camera. There may be some other software out there that I am not aware of, but most of the target markets seems to be Canon and Nikon (thinking CamRanger).

That's what I found as well.
Thanks.
