We grow our own bamboo. We have used it in place of rebar for our cement work, trellises, major construction ie a house and now for fencing. All in all it is a remarkable material.

Nice image Brian, I like the shadows. Does the bamboo grow fast? I had read that in some places it grows inches a day.

This was a case of less is more. There is about 30 linear meters but the beauty needed a close-up.

the shadows were what caught my attention. There are many species of bamboo. The one in the picture is giant butong. If there is enough rain it can grow 18 inches in 24 hours. Yes I said eighteen inches in twenty-four hours.
