    Covered Bridge

C&C Welcome. I realize sometimes I add more vignetting than I probably need to. Any ideas on PP in LR appreciated.

I like it. Maybe crop the trees on the right just a tad. That is only my opinion.

I have done this for Jack

I fear you have caught this off me

    Jack,

Having made it bigger, I can now move the image about my screen in LyteBox and it becomes apparent that some of the trees on right hand side are superfluous to the composition (IMHO) and could be cropped off.

I would suggest feathering out the vignette a little more. There is too much of a definition where the vignette starts/stops. My opinion, you get what you pay for.

    Re: Covered Bridge

Covered bridges were created for several reasons, among which are:
    - To protect the structures from the destructive impacts of sunlight and rain or ice
    - To make the decks less slippery during ice and snow storms
    - To prevent animals from shying at the drop in height as they crossed

They were also known as "Kissing Bridges" because in the more religiously conservative parts of the US, young couples could be out of sight and would steal kisses during the crossing.
