North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota
We're currently vacationing on the North Shore of Lake Superior with our two dogs, daughter, son in law and their two dogs. This is an area with a lot of photographic opportunities.
Grand Marais Bay
My daughter's dog, Stella (by Starlight, full name) in one of her rare still moments. I would like to have used a slower shutter speed but this is what she gave me.
Critique welcome and encouraged.
More to follow.

Re: North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota
The problem which I find with misty scenes is that unless you are able to show some form of clear reference point there is little difference between a good foggy day shot and an out of focus/under exposed ordinary image.
The dog is fine but I would like to crop a little so there is a bit more space in front of it than behind.

As long as you are in Grand Marais, you should check out Cascade River falls or Judge Magney State Parks.

I do not care much for the first shot, but in the second shot, this will benefit from a square crop with the dog slightly at the right side. Or perhaps a portrait crop....Very beautiful dog. I love the colour!
