Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Light Source : Main Source : Beauty Dish..... Kicker Light : Direct Flash with 200mm zoom.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

    Thank You

Nicely captured, composition, lighting and framing are done very well. Only concern is the bright light above the eyebrow and the whites of the distant eye appears a bit too bright. Also forefront eye should either be raised a bit so more is visible to the viewer.

Raj...I clicked on you post an almost had a stroke. Your model is one gorgeous lady.
I would like to see more light in her eyes...the minute blown areas at the tip of her nose might be toned down.

    Hi Raj,

The main unfortunate thing that struck me was being attracted by the area on her wrist which is in sharp focus and side lit by the kicker, revealing too much texture in her skin there.

She is a very attractive model and you're definitely getting better at this.

    Hope that helps, Dave

    Another beautiful portrait, Raj.

The focus comments that others have made aside (as long as the eye closest to the camera is sharp, the softness you show in the other parts of the image are fine, and this seems to be the case (I think)).

    1. I find that the eyes are getting to the "dark cavern" stage. Either a bit of fill light during the shot (preferred solution) or a bit of work in post can help that.

    2. There is something strange and bright at the camera right eye. Something to be fixed in post.

Here is where I might go with those two small issues.

    As for your light selection.

    1. Beauty dish is a nice choice for this type of shot. Did you use a white or silver one and did you use a diffuser? I tend to be very close to my subject when I shoot a beauty disk (it sometimes gets into the frame and I end up having to crop it out).

    2. No fill light? I virtually always either have a reflector or 2nd light as a fill light in this type of shot to push some light back into the face.

    3. Hair light? Why. Your crop is so tight you really are not using it to separate your subject's hair / face / body from the background. I'm wondering why you decided to shoot with one when you really did not use it in the final composition.

I'm not a portrait photographer (never had the confidence) so I won't offer any technical crit. However I do like this as a photograph particularly with Manfreds tweaks. Good work.

I'm not experienced enough to give any technical opinions but I sure do like this image, for a combination of her beauty and your skill in capturing it.
