Helpful Posts: I took this photo in an area called Docklands in Melbourne. There are many quite hideous structures around there also a lot of empty plazas. The lone figure on the bridge is symbolic of a place devoid of atmosphere.

I like the image very much, and for me the place has atmosphere......perhaps of the emptiness ? I cannot explain...but I love it, and think it has more impact in B/W........

What about uploading the colour version too so that we can compare? Is that a good idea?
And while you are there, around Flinder's Station, down going right passing the bridge is a little Sunday market full of "characters" and chalk drawers...on the cement there...would you like to see them and take some nice shots? Or is this place too far away from your usual haunt? Just curious...

Izzie, we often go to that market. Good fun. As for the coloured version of Strange Buildings, I deleted in 'utter dismay' the colours were very drab to say the least. Yaak oooh! and so forth.

OFF TOPIC: Hey Ole...get us some shots of the Unknown Soldier memorial at the Shrine of Remembrance. I have always wanted to take a shot of that scenery but I kept forgetting and at the time I do not have a wide angle lens. Can you make it tomorrow on the 11th of the 11am when the run shines on it?
