    Another of those images which really need to be seen at a larger size to appreciate all the detail.

    My eyes have been off lately so take this with a grain of salt?

    I don't see 'unity' in this shot. there are many fine individual elements but it lacks cohesiveness? Rock walls are beautiful. So are the hills and the orange sky. But to me there is no togetherness? I find my eyes going back to the grey strip of cloud.

    But as I said my eyes are a little off of late.

    Brian I totally agree with you

    Its the reason I didn't process it straight away, that band of grey cloud definitely splits the image.

    I agree with you, switching in LyteBox between the two - I prefer the original aspect ratio Matt.

    it has the advantage of moving the grey band of cloud out of the main eyeline. But it does loose a lot of sky.
