Very nice series, Steve. I specially like the third and the last one.

It may be my monitor, as I am looking at them on my work laptop, but I think they are a bit flat. Increasing the black clipping point may help with that.

or if you want the truth? - they're colder, or as I say when people ask where I'm originally from - "think next step south and it's antartica"
but we do have lovely scenery

hehe Actually the outside air temp was 2 degrees C when we took off then it climbed to about 9 on the other side of the Divide and out the hollyford (for the locals that know the area), but when we landed out on the coast it was a balmy 14 degrees C, I had to take one of my jackets off!

And for Kit, thats pretty typical for the rivers around Fiordland, you see a lot of tree fall, not necessarily due to flood (but in some cases it is) just the way it is, and it's more noticeable when you fly around above it.

Ali, thanks for the comment - I worked these images quite a bit to get them where they are, as they were all shot through 'reflection city' perspex front screen and side window of the helicopter also had to contend with vibration and obvious forward movement of the helicopter. I hear what you're saying about the black clipping but I think I've given them all they can take. Cheers anyway.
