Prospective buyers should note that this is not the current edition of DxO Optics Pro. Still a good tool, but you should be aware.
The latest is 10.5.1. This doesn't seem to be that, although I'm happy to be corrected as I think it's a superb tool. If it is, then this must mean that they're about to launch 11. That's the way it usually works.
Unfortunately, but as expected, it has what I call "The Gap":
Samsung - ___ - Sony
Oddly enough, you can select Sigma in their 'supported cameras' drop-down but the 'models' drop-down menu is empty.
Oh well, back to RawTherapee . . .
Hang on 'til it's free... that's how ah got ver. PRO 8.5, still does the job.![]()
DxO FilmPack by itself is a very good bit of software. I got DxO FP 3 free a while back and still use it. I have been looking for a free update of #4 since #5 was released but it has not yet arrived. So, I am going to give DxO Filmpack 5 a free trial using this link and might actually pay something for the software if it is as good as I think it must be. Software this good can be worth actual money. I am not interested in paying for the other programs although I do also use a free copy of DxO Optics 8.
