    Sunset Bridge

The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Cooper River in South Carolina, connecting downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. Taken from Sullivan's Island.

    Critique welcome.

Nice silhouette and composition, that plane could do for a cloning out though.

I would have preferred the plane to be a fraction further to the left; but even then it is so far away I think I would probably still clone it out.

The narrow strip of black at the bottom is working well. Any more would have been too much.

    Hi Jim,

I can't base this on anything but a feeling, but if it were mine, I would rotate it clockwise a smidge.

I think the plane should go.

Sadly it isn't all that sharp either, I think it may be suffering a little camera shake, the far stays (on left of each tower) are sharpest, but almost everything else is much softer, especially the stays at 90 degrees to the sharp ones.

I can see why you grabbed the shot though - beautiful sky and not a bad foreground either.
Usually when I see a sky like that, all there is between me and it, is urban clutter

    Cheers, Dave

It may have been moved on Flickr, which has a habit of breaking the link*

    * This is partly why I use PBase, which doesn't break any links if I move pictures between albums on my website.

Sorry. Hope the image is back.

Thanks all for the feedback on the image, it's appreciated. I guess just too dark and too far away without using a tripod.
