Hope I am, Poppy

Okay, bit of subterfuge on my part. But it would be a bit of a dope to post Opium Poppy as the title, wouldn't I? But that is what it is. Went to a country garden open day recently. And they had a whole swag of these in divers colours flourishing in garden beds, all in a pretty row.

Hang on. Now you tell me. These are not the bad poppies? These are nice poppies? Oh, bugger! And here was I thinking I was onto something special! Dayim! Another dream gone up in smoke!

Well done! And with an added bug too. I visitedDad who used to live in Ballarat a few years ago and he was so concerned when I saw this Poppy in his garden. He only had one and the seed must have been dropped by a bird or something. I didn't even know at the time that Poppies are sort of a "drug" component but he asked us not to tell the police. I like the flower...it is beautiful...
