    Landscape - C&C are welcome

Landscape, I hardly photograph, but during my stay in Bhutan, I have tried my hands in landscape also. Here is one shot of landscape, where I have tried to incorporate human element too in the frame.

Your C&C will be highly appreciated - especially for framing and processing.

    Thanks,

    Tejal

Cool, then I'm thinking a polariser would have helped you out a bit here and would have cut out the haze a bit and really brought out the detail in the clouds.

Nice control of the haze, the human element adds to the intrigue of the shot.

Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion. Yes filter could have given a better result .

Nicely composed image. Judging by the shadows, a polarizer would have helped indeed. The closer you are to shooting at a right angle to the sun, the more effect the polarizer has. In this case it would have really cut the haze and pulled detail out of the clouds. However, the clouds also look a bit over exposed. If shot in RAW perhaps they could be brought back a bit.

Agree about filter. I really need to get one now . It is a raw file only. Here is the revised processed pic -

Is it possible to get still more detail ? If yes, kindly guide me how i can do that. I use PS for processing. I will try to process it again. Thanks a lot for your valuable input.

Hey, Tejal. For comparison of edited images it is most useful to re-post it in the same thread. Then the light box can be used to toggle from one image to the other to compare them. As far as asking whether it is possible to pull out more detail, no one can give truly accurate advice without actually having access to the RAW file. However the next best thing would be for you to post an image of the RGB histogram.

Thanks Dan for your guidance. I tried a lot to control that white/over exposed part of cloud, but then it resulted into patches, so I left it. if you want, I can send the raw file. Please share your email ID. I will send you. . I really wish to learn how to handle this type of post processing. Your guidance will be very helpful.
