Good catch, Roger.
Yes, I think that I have discovered something that you already know; being at the right place at the right time, although rare, is a blessing. Being close enough, is a minor miracle!
Are there falcons bigger than eagles? what it has preyed upon? does this capture a live one or scavenging? please enlighten ....
I like the first one, Roger. Timing is every thing - even it is serendipitous.
Nandakumar, I do not know of any falcons that are larger than Eagles but I have limited knowledge in the subject, as far as what it has preyed upon I think it is a Willet and it would be alive when captured. The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on earth it's speed was clocked in a dive at 242 mph, check out a National Geographic special called "Terminal Velocity" it's great.
Excellent shots...especially #2 and #3.
Very nice , pic two for me is the best .
Cool series, Roger. We love to even have the opportunity to witness these events. Making any sort of image capture is definitely a bonus. Nicely done.
Good captures
