No, I didn't do this for a holiday card. I shot this during a previous Christmas family get-together and then promptly misplaced the image. It was on a small external hard drive. I found it when I decided to erase the images on that hard drive but, looked at them first.

The shot was done as an experiment with a Canon 270EX flash bounced into a Joe Demb Photojournalist Flip-It with the camera in the vertical position. Since the 270EX flash can tilt but cannot rotate, the Flip-It is the best way to get halfway decent lighting with the camera held vertically.
