    Lake Iseo

Lake Iseo is one of the lesser well known Italian Lakes and even though we were there in the very height of their summer holiday season, we found it both beautiful and restful. Here are a few views, mainly taken in the evening or early morning. I'm still practising new things in PP so thoughts C&C welcome, in particular have I gone too blue in 3 and 4?.

    1 - Lakeside evening

    Lake Iseo

    2 - Early morning

    3 - The blue hour

    4 - Another morning view

Nice series, I like the third image the best.

Looks OK, Kaye; but just a few thoughts.

Do you need so much foreground in #1 ? You could possibly lose a little from the bottom and right side.

    #2 looks fine.

#3 is definitely too blue for my tastes, and a fraction on the noisy side. Has this come from the blue channel?

#4 is slightly on the blue side but that could be an advantage, particularly with the sky and reflection.

I like #1 the best. #3 & #4 seem a little too blue since you asked...maybe a bit too aqua blue vs true blue.

Thanks all for the feedback, will look at 3 and 4 again....my gut feel is 4 is too blue but will probably leave 3 as is because it was the blueness of the evening that led me to the image as well as the yellow boat and buoy.

Very nice set... #1 is especially beautiful to my eyes, and I'd also consider cropping a wee bit off of the bottom and right side for more attention on the gorgeous sky and soft pinks by the mountain.

I prefer #1 and 2 shots best...#1 is such a beautiful scene, peaceful nice to just meander around and #2 the same but I wish that blob of blue cloud at the top left hand side be cloned out to make this a spectacular shot...just a thought.
