Thank you for posting this. I wish we could see its legs, but just based on the eyes I agree that it is a leucistic bird. It would be interesting to see if it has a mate. The cranes I posted were a mated pair. I bet it varies between species. I wonder it any other members of CIC have examples of leucistic animals.

Peter,Jim,Chuck,Nandakumar,thanks for views an comments,here is another of a white deer,taken in forest on one of the islands on Loch Lomond,pretty poor quality but amazing to see,.....
