Re: Tugboat
it is a nice photo, Jim, but any comments really depend on what you want to do with the photo.
As a travel photo is is great as it is, however if you contemplated printing it and hanging it on the wall, I would do some serious cropping. I would crop out the bridge completely so that the point of focus is the tugboat and little else. I would use an aspect ratio of 2:1 (width to height) and retain the bottom left hand corner of the current photo up to the underside of the bridge. That way the "Florida" is the focus of attention and there are no distractions for the eye.

Re: Tugboat
I think that the composition with the bridge framing the boat is very good, and the exposure and colours look good also. There two problems that detract for me. The first is easy to correct - a slight clockwise rotation to make the water level (which will also make the bridge tower vertical). The second is not quite so easy - the busy background, particularly on the left, competing with the boat for the viewer's attention; if it were mine, I would try cloning it out of the shot or replacing it will something like low hills.
Cheers.

Re: Tugboat
I like the colours here...and you had a very lucky day shooting this one...bright clear days will be a dream at this time of the year...55°F will be as good ...
