Damn! It's that time of year again. I know the skating rink at City Hall in Ottawa opened as well, but I'm going to pretend the weather is still warmer than skating weather!

Hi Manfred,

Temperature was around 6C but felt colder. What don't you like about the ice? Initial capture of the ice was a bit cooler and nondescript but I brought out the details to present as I saw the surface. This was taken around 3:30PM and the sun was very glaring. Thanks for commenting.

What don't you like about the ice?

Ice = Winter = COLD!

That being said, I'm planning some winter shoots, but need some snow before I venture out. The Christmas lights are out, but then won't look right until there is some snow on the ground.

I did not like the young lady's face in that image...my daughter knew at once the problem...
no makeup. FWIW, ya gotta apply a foundation and powder.
