    just found out that this is a 'C- shaped larva of a scarab'

    I have seen this ..it grows in decay matters and heaped up cow dung etc. Nicely captured

    yes it does we found it as we were clearing out our well aged compost.

    Trust me on this one it's a real bug. After a quick web search it appears to be the larval stage of a scarab.
