I agree but there were about 100 ducks in a small area of open water so I had to crop out parts of other ducks in the frame.

The 1st image is lovely for capturing the beauty of the Mallard up close. Great clarity, beautiful colours and detail in the head area, and excellent focus. (eye wonderfully sharp)

I agree with both Christina and Nandakumar's comments. At least in the second and third, you can consider them as action shots...as far as almost static ducks are concerned.
Nice shot of the first. Good for ID.
