That's a good B & W conversion.
I think I'd maybe want to get rid of that object creeping into the frame over the hay bale down on the left-hand edge.

Agreed with all of the details of the above comments. I wonder if you have an image of the subject using a lower camera position to draw us into the image more. The current perspective makes me feel as if I'm a distant observer.

I agree with all the previous comments, Dean.
Additional to Donald's suggestion, if this were mine, I'd tone down, or 'burn', 2 or 3 other objects in the background, look for anything light toned that's very close to a part of the subject; e.g. up by his right hand and also below his left arm. You'd need to accurate though.
You have a good shot and conversion of Alberto, it just needs a little 'attention to detail'.
