Raymond...I like #2 even if all of these shots here except the butt shot image are all "soft" to taste...I cannot explain it but I have edited your shot of #2 for comparison:

Hard to work on a small file but I guess going closer a little bit helps...I also had added some extra tone and structure to the birdie...
I will remove it if you do not like it...

Hi Raymond
For me the best of the set is #2. I would crop the image from right and go for a square frame, I would reduce the highlights in the BG selectively and I would add some structure to the bird only as Isabel has already suggested.
