    See this thread for mine....

    Reflecting on the season...

Had to add a picture of our fireplace. My wife re-decorates the whole house at Christmas time so this is just small part of what we have out. She doesn't think the fireplace 'works', so won't let me light it to warm our family room. She's out of the house right now so I took the opportunity to snap a picture with it lit. I see I missed the door on the right as it is reflecting badly. She's due back soon so no time to re-do it. A night time shot would have been easier as the light coming in from the side window is really bright.

This will be an interesting thread to follow...my future DIL has more time to indulge in photography so she asked if I can lend her one of my cameras for her to learn from. Today I bought some Christmassy items at Michael's for her to put together for a studio shot...I'll see what she can come up with...

Captured in my home on Christmas Day 2014. It's this year's holiday card. Exposed for two seconds to get the best presentation of the flames.

Maryland crab. An ornament my mom gave me once upon a time - so I would never forget my roots.

Alan...I think your wife did a good job with her quilting machine...she is very artistic too...You are so lucky...Good shot...you forgot to completely clean up that purple streak at the left hand side. Very minor correction, negligible so you really do not have to do it.

Try to praise her for her job. Well done.
