"Exhausting" - Category Street

Recently I visited the place, where bricks are made. I enjoyed my visit and it was for the first time, i saw the procedures how they make bricks. I will share some pictures taken there. I hope, you will enjoy .

Good composition and what appears to be an intriguing activity.

I am undecided whether to suggest cloning out the pole and wire, I suspect that for your use; documenting work place, probably better left there and it does give a sense of scale to the chimney/kiln.

Thanks Dave for your comment. Cloning the pole, yes it had come in my mind, but if you zoom the image, there is a CFL hanging over there, so I didnt do anything with the image. Even processing also i didnt do much.

Yes, I just noticed a bit of lateral Chromatic Aberration (CA) now you mention it.

Can I ask if you shot this horizontal orientation, then cropped a fair bit off the right hand side to make it the vertical format we see here?

Where do you see the CA? I only see some sensor dust halfway and left of the chimney.

Nicely captured, the central figure looks like he's collecting the exhaust.

Interesting picture.
My only suggestion is to crop out about half of the foreground dirt at the bottom.
Other than that nicely done.

Where do you see the CA?

Almost everywhere (against the sky/steam), just not on the pole in the lower right corner, which is what makes me suspect that was originally in the centre of the frame.

It isn't much, granted and you MUST view in LyteBox at fully 100% (hit F key), to see these things...

If you look at the top edge of the chimney, there's a cyan/green edge.
There's a similar edge below the elbow of the chap partially in front of the chimney.
The key thing is they are equal and opposite across high contrast light/dark transitions heading towards the middle. CA is always worst near the edge of the lens' imaging circle, IOW, usually the corners.

The clincher (for me) is the chap in the lower left corner, his outline against the sky has both coloured edges, on opposite sides of his body and arms; left/right and above/below.

Actually, Chimney was very tall and i have 18-55 lens only, so it was bit difficult to cover the whole in my frame. I was literally lying down in that dust to take those human figures and the chimney in my frame. People were at a bit height and where i was was a sloping place. It was basically an oven. From very limited places it was possible to reach there. Vertical frame was not at all possible, otherwise human figures would have come very far. Generally for street, I prefer to take horizontal frames only, but in this case, may be.....

About Chromatic Aberration, I really didn't notice that. In fact was not knowing this. New thing for me, but I understood now. Today I learnt something new. Thanks a million. Now, I will always take care of this.

Tejal..I will not comment on your image's correction suggestion as others have already done that...what I am intrigue about is why those people are holding on those bowls up? Is it possible for you to describe this process of making bricks this way. We have a place a bit further where I live and they make bricks and similar products for large clienteles but not the way your picture here shows... Thank you.
