    Nice use of shape (inverted v) and tones, the focus on the iron bar is just sharp enough to not be a distraction.

    This was a good idea but for me the foreground object (iron loop) needs to be as sharp as the rest of the image.

    I have tried many ideas like this in the past and ditched all of them. So now, unless I can manage to shoot two focus points then merge, I just leave this sort of scene alone.

    I think you should have focused on the hooked one with the face and ignored the rest as he and the hook are your subjects there...just a thought..
