Helpful Posts: We have had some warmish weather with hot, dry, gusty winds. And we got some interesting cloud formations as a result. Thought to share these in case anyone else might care to see them. Of course as someone once said ( me probably, whilst in me cups!) " Seen one cloud, ya seen 'em all!"

Oh no, not at all. Clouds are wonderful, fascinating things. Sheila, before she died, was into clouds. Even had a book of all the known cloud types and names. And we even found out there is such a thing as the Cloud Appreciation Society. Oh yes there is!

Donald, there are trees and then there are trees. Yes, normally I would sacrifice these trees for a better capture as per your advice. Unfortunately these particular trees are a salinity control plantation and have to stay. Sorry about that.Love this composition. Only thing - Could you nip out, saw down those trees that are just sticking in to view at the bottom of the frame and re-shoot!

The last one is stellar! The trees Donald mentioned could easily be digitally removed. Consider converting that last image to monochrome to enhance both the clouds and the trees.

Clouds are actually more difficult to photograph well than they they would initially appear to be. These have worked well, and with just the right amount of land to put everything into perspective.
