Hi, I have just acquired Lightroom 6 and although I am enjoying playing around I am after some decent presets to play around with.
Any pointers on where to source some good ones would be appreciated.

Rob you maybe better to first develop your own. I have about 7 that I have tailored to which camera I use and the type of photo I am dealing with. If I need anything more than just tweaking the presets I have I tend to edit in photoshop.
However I am sure there are some interesting presets available.
Thanks Paul but it doesn't really address my question.
Hi Rob,
I suspect the lack of responses is telling you something about use of presets (that remark will probably open the floodgates), though it's easy enough to Google some.
I suggest you repost your question in the specialist Lightroom forum http://www.lightroomforums.net/forum.php which is where I usually go with specific Lightroom queries.

Cheers Dave, I will try there
VCSO film have a few to buy and a set for free emulating old film.
Eric Kim has some he has designed for street pictography on his blog.
They might be a good starting point to see what you can get from light room then try to develop your own.

For the reasonable price of $49.99 you can get Scott Kelby's Lightroom 6 book for digital photographers and in there you will find a source of free LR presets. As you are a member of Cambridge in Colour I'll provide to you at no cost a link to one source.

Killer lightroom tips
I had loads but now almost never use them same as in PS 9/10 presets dont work for the shot you are editing,so use them to get an idea but develop your own style.Treat them as samples and not as masters.Stick with LR it is the best Editing software, need to modify an image use PS
