I have taken many Hibiscus shots but none as beautiful as this one. Would it be possible with your gear to get an even deeper DOF?

The flower shot is beautiful but it looks like it is tired and not crispy opened? I said this because the edges are drooping so this must be about two days old...??

    Thanks all.

Brian - Not sure what you are asking.

Izzie - A little passed prime.

When i look at the shot the bottom of the petals are not quite as in focus as the rest of the shot. Perhaps a little higher on the F/ would have brought all of the flower and leaves into focus?

    Nice image, and well composed.

Re the DOF issue: the exif says only f/4.0, but if I am right, that camera has a 6.2 x 4.6 mm (1/2.3 ") sensor, so DOF is fairly large even at that wide aperture.

    Agree with Brian here.
