My critique:
WOW
:Critique ends:
Seeing those shots, I nearly wished I lived further up the globe... (Although I did go to the beach yesterday )
Beautiful.
Cool captures.
First I want to thank tbob for the magnificent images and secondly for the suggested viewing process. I followed it to a T inspite of my wife saying I was crazy. I think I got the full effect as I've come down with a royal cold now, but, it was worth it!
Absolutely great photos of something I'll never get to see in person.
Thank you for sharing them.
By the way, it rained almost all day today for the first time in a long, long, long time. 'bout time that happened.
Ahead of my planned trip to Yosemite next year, I'm following a couple of blogs and I read that Yosemite Valley got 5.5 inches of rain since Sunday afternoon and that the, to post from Michael Frye's blog, ".... water-year precipitation total (measured from July 1st to June 30th) for Yosemite Valley to over 19 inches, which is a landmark, because it’s over half the annual average of 37 inches. It’s also more than the valley got for the entire 2014-2015 water year (a mere 16.16 inches)."
Thank you I am truly indebted to you for being able to view a marvellous spectacle in the comfort of my chair at a pleasant 24deg C evening temperature. I have run out of ice as it is all in gin and tonic drinks. This should I suppose make me feel guilty but does not.
Beautifully taken and inspite of the discomfort that you have so graphically described I would still like to see it in person. Please send me the adress of a good restaurant with this view from the window.

Great shots, thanks for sharing. I'd add something humorous but I can't top what's already been said.
Very nice series Trevor, thanks for that
Enjoyed viewing.
This hotel has individual "igloo rooms" with clear dome ceilings to view the aurora from your bed. I would hate to see you suffer (that is not true, but is more polite than the thoughts engendered by you drinking gin and tonics at plus 24 C while I freeze here)

Trevor, these are beautiful shots. We have a lot of the cold in Jackson Hole, without the northern lights. Bummer. I hope you have a good display for Christmas.
WOW; i really enjoyed it; any how i am not unhappy of not being there personally, because , even here when i had to visit some hill station where temperature goes down to (5-10) degrees, i found myself nearly chilled to death....
I am one of those "unfortunate" ones who will never perhaps see this kind of phenomena. But I am not sorry...I don't like cold anyway so I will rely on you photographers for sharing some things my eyes and my lens cannot photograph in my lifetime...
BTW, I like that link -- it is one thing to think of...the igloos looks good...
