    I like this shot, John...and I see a lot of them around some parts of some events here. I just do not know what to do with them and/or how to shoot this kind properly...thanks for the inspiration...

    Very nice shot that has "feel" to it: the inviting, welcoming warmth of the food wagon surrounded by a sea darkness.

    No flash, I placed myself between an overhead lamppost and then used the lighting of the wagon. Thanks for commenting.

    A lovely shot. I like all the elements, busy but not distracting from the main subject. I like the way you have used the dark area too. Could you perhaps lose the tiny yellow in the top right
