Moses at ease
Taken a few years ago in Kensington here in Toronto, late in the afternoon.
Moses, the owner of a Caribbean products and record store was as usual, relaxing outside his store, making conversation with passersby and enjoying the early fall weather.
I liked his casual pose on the bollard, and the wonderful warm light, and grabbed this shot.
motorized Nikon F2AS
Tamron SP 35~105 2.8 AIS manual focus
Fuji 100 ISO colour slide
exposure about 2.8 @ 1/60th

Love the expression and the colors in this photo. The yellow-green'ish tone in the shadows is awesome. Do you process your own slides?

Re: Moses at ease
Thanks for the comments guys.
Daniel,
No, I've never processed my own film.
Always had tons of labs around to do my E-6 here in Toronto.
But alas, since the Digital madness took over the world, there is only one lab here providing the service, and they no longer do it in-house, but send it to a lab in Montreal.

Re: Moses at ease
I think his face needs a bit of brightness, just a touch...his expression is lost a bit because his skin is dark and his face is dark...mind you, it is a beautiful shot...
