Taken last summer on Queen Street West in a trendy shopping area, here in Toronto.
As usual I was walking the streets looking for interesting situations when I spotted a window dresser carefully placing a pair of shoes in the window display. What I especially liked was the dainty way she held the shoes as she positioned them, as well as the reflection of the street behind me, which added some interest to the scene.

Actually it is a clever marketing strategy: show only one shoe of a pair and you can display twice as many styles in the window.
Besides, women never ask for a specific shoe style the way men do. We say "Bring me a Cordovan penny-loafer in a ten and a half." Then we try it on, pay and go.
While women say, "Just start bringing out shoes and when I see the ones I want, I'll tell you to stop." So what's in the window doesn't matter. For them shopping is an experience, a pastime, and the purchase if at all, is often secondary.
I learned this at my part-time job in a shoe store while in High School, as well as from my wife during the million or so years we've been married.

There are a couple of very small white spots on the edge line of her back which I find slightly distracting so I would clone them out; but only just noticeable.

There was something very bright and much larger in the original that I cloned out, leaving only those two small spots just to give the curve of her back a tiny bit of separation from the large black reflection (car outside) behind her.
