Rusty
This little fella looking lost I spotted in the lane outside our house early morning on Christmas day and soon after I found him cowering in our yard. Traumatised, weak, skin and bones and in a very poor state we have done all we can to help him over the few days.
There are wounds on him that I suspect have been caused by a cane knife (machete) and it looks like they are healing ok, how and where he has been living we have no idea.
Meet Rusty after some TLC, square meals, bug removal and a bath.

Re: Rusty
He looks a nice dog that will probably repond well to some kindness.

Re: Rusty
Thank you guys,
Rusty is progressing well, seems to recognise his new name or it may be he recognises sounds that comes from the ones that feed him
Concerns about injuries other than superficial have lessened as he's now started jumping up and using me as a bone Not sure about the badly bloodshot eyes but there's no vets available for advice this week.
The next thing is to consider his long term future.

Re: Rusty
It breaks my heart what cruelty people inflict on dogs and other animals.
Thanks for saving this wonderful dog...
