Helpful Posts: This picture was taken a few months back on a visit to a village in Central India. These villagers were looking at my fellow photographers who were shooting them from one side. I thought this made for an interesting shot front on.

It's a very strong composition and works superbly in B&W. It's probably better than the shot the photog they're actually looking at got!

Yes, guessing from the angle of their faces, the other photographers were probably struggling to get everybody into sharp focus while your angle easily achieved sufficient focus depth.
