I'd say, of the three Amma is working hardest. Nicely composed.

As mothers, we always wish better for our children, hope that they surpass our conditions better, have better education and all that. Some kids forget that, how hard we worked for them when they were young...just a sentiment...

Anyway, back to topic, this one got a nice pp but I do not know what is lacking for me to see here...??? Hopefully some others will be able to point that out so I can see how they see.

IMO, the large expanse of blank sky takes away from the image a bit.

I cropped a little closer, increased the structure globally and darkened the sky and increased the sky saturation a bit.

    Team work - C&C are welcome !! (A)

Another thought might be to replace the sky with interesting clouds...

Hi Tejal I like Richard's tight crop, but I prefer your other shots of the same environment as they presented some action. In this image people look as if they are standing to pose for you. Did they pose for you?

Let us see some photos of your son too...they are very, very nice until they turn 10 years of age and became too vulnerable to hearing stupid, daring comments from older siblings.

A great capture and I love the repetition of the pose. The picture seems flat though, I would increase saturation and contrast or maybe try a mono conversion.

No no... they were doing their work. I had not told them to pose for me

Thanks Robert. I think B&W is a good idea. I will try it.

    Tejal,
I think this is an interesting photo as it gives us a glimpse of a way of life that is foreign to us here in North America.
That being said, I think the shot would have been stronger if you had been standing a bit further back to give us more information on their work environment. Additionally, I think the three subjects are too cramped within the frame, and appear to be static and posing.
Opening up the shot in addition to showing more about where they work, would have given them space to move into.
I hope my comments are helpful.

Thanks Robert for your comment. Back ground was quite clutter so, avoided taking the back ground in the frame. Nothing was so interesting to incorporate. But as you said, some action was required. I will try to get some better shot, next time .
