Making of Ponk- C&C are most welcome !!

Ponk is popularly known in Surat, India and surrounding areas is the name for green immature sorghum grains available only in this part of the world. Ponk is usually available only during colder winter months, from November through February. Sorghum seedhead stalks are roasted under charcoal and then grains are beaten out from the soft shelling. Ponk is known to be regularly found in tall shaking grass.

Nice series Tejal Is the last one related to ponk ? It is a lovely image with lively colors but I couldn't get the relation with the rest of the series

Thanks . Those are thin fried noodles. We call it "Sev". It's an additional snack people eat with ponk.

Yes. All natural ingredients, but yes, they might be adding some artificial colors too. .
