Nice capture of the curl.
Very nice and inviting.
Excellent images...on what platform you were standing, i wonder
Nice images.....I like the green tone in the waves.

Beautiful...
Very nice. Like 3 & 4 the best.
Definitely #4 for me, Kaye.
The others are technically fine but I think you have zoomed in too much on the main subject at the expense of apparent 'depth' to the scene which would come with slightly fading into the background.
I tend to agree with Geoff. One solution to the issue he mentioned would be to use a vertical orientation.
Though converting to monochrome would probably not be a traditional approach, I would convert all except the absolutely most interesting displays of color.
Very nice light in #3 and very nice shooting angle in #4 Kaye
Nice series. I like #2 & #4 best. It would be good if I could get a sense of scale.
Thanks all for your kind comments. Nandakumar - you're right I had a vantage point of Looe harbour wall so thankfully only wet feet with an errant wave every so often. Thanks Mike and Geoff for the thoughts - I have some 'longer' shots and will look again at those.
I like the idea of the black and white and did in fact process one image from another day into more of a sepia tone since the colours of the day were very 'brown'
I've also just processed this one, not the curl of the wave but hopefully gives you a feeling of the wind and the waves.
Further comments and thoughts appreciated

Nice theme Kaye and some good results too, I have been meaning to try this sort of thing myself.
3,4,5 are my personal favourites
The last one looks fine; although I wonder if that big rock on the left should be cropped out? And a similar amount from the bottom. Just experimenting by holding pieces of card against my screen, I seem to prefer the crop idea.
You can accomplish the same thing without using cards assuming you want to emulate the cropping of no more than two sides and that both sides are perpendicular to each other: Click the image to display it in the Lytebox. Then click, hold and drag the image to the edge(s) of you monitor display.
The biggest advantage of using that method is that if anyone walks into the room while you're doing it, they don't think you're crazy.
I debated the rock...........and still undecided whether to let it go although agree keeping the same photo ratio it would work.
Mike, my husband knows I'm crazy, with or without pieces of card !! But then i tell him, what does he expect - I've been living with him so long.................
