    The red mitten

    This was taken in downtown Toronto a few years ago.
    What attracted me was the man's outstretched arm and red mitten, seemingly reaching out for help.

    Nice viewpoint, Robert. Allows one to see where he is and what's behind him.
    I like your idea of the red mitten.
    I assume he is laying on the grating because it provides a flow of warm air.

    That is not a mitten, it is a pair of socks, I think...I sometimes wear a pair of socks in my hands in bed too but not in the street like this...keeps my hand warmer and not hitting the humidifier smokes which is a little bit cold when my hand is out too long from the doona cover.

    Robert, great shot. Maybe crop the wheels and the kerb, I don't think they do anything for the image. That is only my opinion.
