Photo Competition for December 2015 - The Result
Boy, it was getting crowded at the top of the leader board and it has remained the same right to the end.
We have 3-way tie for 3rd place. 2nd place is only one point ahead of those. And just a further 2 points ahead is 1st place. So ................
In 3rd place we have
In 2nd place
Bobo (Bobobird)
with
In 1st place
Neville (Ndukes)
with
Well done to all the above. The closest chasers were entry numbers 13 and 18.

This photograph entitled 'Red Sky in the Morning' was taken outside my back door around sunrise on 29th.December 2015. The British Isles was about to be hit once again with another severe weather event, this time named 'Frank' by the Irish Meteorological service. All is calm here and a lone crow greets the new day. The red clouds lit by a red sunrise are the leading edge of the dramatic rain storm that was to follow resulting in continually worsening flooding that has afflicted much of Ireland and Great Britain this Winter.
Camera used was an Olympus Stylus 1 with T-CON 17X converter giving an equivalent focal length of 510mm in 35mm terms. Settings are 1/320 at f2.8, ISO 100.
