It's a Scrub Python - quite harmless and not at all aggressive. I nearly didn't see it, I was trying to get a better position to snap a Whistling Kite. I didn't have time to change lens, 60mm macro would have been better than the 70-300mm.

Man o Man! Richard you seem to have found another I-don't-want-to-look-at scary stuff...all those that crawls are scary to me. They should belong behind the glass for show or something --in the zoo not in the wild. I think you should tell me the location of your shoot so I know when I can use the neoprene fishing pants I have been mollycoddling in my cabinet...
