Actually the sun was to my left. The TPE plot of the light can be seen here and the large red dot is roughly where I would have been standing.







I understand all about shooting into the sun in a snow scene (having done it many times).

The sun is just about dead ahead in this shot.










Again - the red dot would have been where I was shooting from and the focal area of the shot is represented by the pin.


Sorry, no salmon in these rivers - way too far away from the ocean. Trout, perch and bass are the types of fish you will find in this river.

I have not had freshly caught trout for almost 10 years now...good steamed then slattered with mayo...Hellman's Mayo.

When we go fishing/camping we gut the trout load it with fresh lemons and plenty of black pepper and cook it right on the camp fire!

Beautiful. The record for snow where i used to live was six feet in 24 hours. That was ugly.
