This guy is a stray that hangs around when he feels like it.

How fortuitous that the cat's eyes match your background, Mark! Or is that some sleight of hand on your part?

The background is blue sky through oak branches. the cat was sitting on a board that holds a reed shade screen up. just a happy accident LOL.

I think the catchlights make the eyes which in turn make the photo

That is the roundish way of saying it...good shot, Mark...maybe if you feed it everyday, it will adopt you as his slave...

Thanks to all he is a very nice friendly cat. I think he is playing the neighborhood though some times I don't see him for several days.

Yeah, we have a soft fluffy cat like that, every now and then she'll disappear for; a whole day, two days, or longer, I think the record was last November (2015) when she disappeared for well over a week and we were beginning to worry, started asking neighbours if they'd seen her, then she turned up again looking none the worse for it.

I suspect she had adopted someone locally and was evicted when they (perhaps) heard she did have a home to go to.
(even if it does contain two others cats and 3 dogs)

    Cheers, Dave
