Hi, my name is Arno, and I live in Massachusetts. I got back into photography a little over a year ago after a fairly lengthy hiatus. I found this forum as I was doing research on new equipment. I enjoy landscape and nature photography but dabble a bit in other areas. I'm shooting an Olympus E-M1 with a variety of lenses.

Hello everyone,

My name is Andrew from Indonesia. It's nice to know you all.

I am a newbie in photography and I have just started learning it for a couple weeks. I came to this forum because of a recommendation from a friend of mine for a great photography forum and I actually love this forum and all its great tutorials (each one actually help me taking better photos).

I currently have Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II and iPhone 6 as my daily cameras. My photos theme & style are still random because I am still trying to test everything but I like to photo human's activities the most.

I don't have any website yet to post my photos (and I don't know any and I hope somebody here may give me some recommendations), so I currently post my photos on my Instagram. You can follow me and comment my photos @andrewsugi. Please give me some comments so I may know where I am lacking on.

That's the end of my introduction. I hope I can give many things to this forum.

Hi everyone,

My name is Dan i was born and raised in a town just outside Nottingham, England but moved to Norway around 7 years ago to be with my now wife. I'm a light hearted person that never takes myself too seriously, i like walks on the beach in the moonlight and...... wait..... sorry wrong type of forum :p

I have always had an interest in photography but never really got too involved until recently. I am starting from scratch with a long way to go, but i am enjoying the journey. Any comments and constructive cricism is always welcome.

I am looking forward to my stay here and hoping to get to know some of you better as time goes by.

So that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile (under 'Forum Actions' on the Menu Bar), or you can just press on 'Settings' on the menu bar right up at the top right of the window. Once there you can enter the name by which you wish to be addressed under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Bert Park, I am 69, Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, came to Australia with my parents when I was only 2.
Married with 3 Daughters & 7 Grand kids.
I am part way through completing a Cert 1V Photography course which presently involves studio & portraiture photography however I prefer landscapes & street photography, but I want to complete this course as I feel it will help me understand more about lighting & photographing people in natural circumstances rather than studio setups. I have joined Cambridge to hopefully get some assistance & guidance in both photography & photoshop from more experienced & competent photographers / members like yourselves.
I have a Canon EOS 1000 D camera with an EFS 18-55mm Lens & a 55-250mm Lens.

I am John Sims, living in Northern California (Sunnyvale). I've been interested in photography for well over 50 years, but only more so in the last 12 to 18 months. Prior to that I would describe my self as a hiker that took pictures, but am now trying to move toward becoming a "Photographer that takes hikes". This transformation is in the very early stages:-), but nonetheless "underway".
I am finding Cambridge in Color to be a great web site, with a wealth of information, at most any level anyone could be interested in.

Hello, I am a pensioner(74 yrs young) and I live in North West of England UK. Joined to learn all about Colour profiles and calibration but so far have spent my time looking at the fantastic images produced by the members. I am interested mainly in Birds(feathered) and Macro and although a newbie I am showing improvement. I will be hanging around watching and learning, and hope to soon make contributions.
