Hello and welcome to the CiC forum. Thank you for joining.
I suggest that you re-post your question in the Digital Cameras & Equipment section of the. It is likely to attract more responses if posted there. Also, could you please explain what you mean by your question. Are you meaning has anyone done comparisons of the effect of different exposure settings in which they have increased the ISO number? Are you trying to establish the noise impact of those different ISO settings?
By the way - If you wish you can go to Edit Profile and put in your location, so that it appears in the sidebar alongside your message, just like mine beside this message. Then everybody knows where everybody else is.
Hi all, I am Dave, I live in Herefordshire UK, for those members from lovely far away places, my photography interests are in all things nature, and street photography, this also includes candid portraiture.
I use the Olympus EM5 plus three lenses a wide zoom that is also a macro lens, the 75-300mm long zoom, and a 75 f1.8 prime lens, which is fast becoming my favourite lens.

Hello Dave and a warm welcome. I don't know about lovely far away places. Well, actually I do, and I think England in May takes a lot of beating!
I hope you enjoy being a member here, and that we'll see some pictures soon. There are quite a few m4/3 shooters here (personally I have one foot in the dslr and one in the m4/3 camp).
Regards
(another English) Dave
Good morning all! Hope I've got the posting option right here...if not, I'll try again! I'm Debra or Debbie or... DayLee (nickname) I answer to any or all the above! I recently moved to Lake Guntersville, AL (USA) which is an amazing 62,000 (yes thousand!) acre lake on the Tennessee River waterway. Guntersville is built on a peninsula and surrounded by the lake on 3 sides so it is easy to literally walk to the waterfront and start shooting photos! I love shooting nature, sunsets, anything really. I only got hooked on photography since moving here last Fall but now it is a true passion. My kids might (do) say an obsession. I have lots to learn! Presently shooting with a Samsung WB250F point & click with manual options so hope to learn the basics with it before purchasing an entry-level DSLR after the first of the year. I look forward to 'meeting' new friends here and learning more about capturing my world in a shot or two...Have a blessed day!.... An icy lake here is rare but I captured a shot right across from my home during a record cold snap this February and am adding it here. Most of my sunset shots are taken at or near this dock.

Hi everybody, I am Manabendra Dey, from India. I have got a Nikon L820 in July 13 and a D7000 in October 13 and started shooting. I have read some of the tutorials of this site earlier, & benefited. As a beginner, I have been learning things regarding photography from net & applying in the field. Thanks.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Joanna and I have had a love for photography for many years. It stated with a film camera and my processing B&W photographs in college. Over the years I have changed cameras many times. My last camera was about 6-7 years old (Cannon rebel Xti) I recently sold it as I could no longer handle the weight of the camera due to arthritis in my shoulders. I decided to get a lighter point and shoot camera. So far im not impressed as i purchased a cheaper one (Sony DSC H300) I sure could use some help getting the hang of how to get a good photo with this camera if it is even possable.
You have! Hello Debbie and a very warm welcome to the CiC forum.
There's no such thing as a dumb question on this forum and it exists as a learning resource. So you'll come across lots of people very willing to offer constructive advice and guidance.
By the way, that's a pretty impressive introductory image
Welcome Manabendra. I hope you enjoy being part of this forum.
Something you might find useful. Sometimes people are not sure about asking for comments and criticism on their images. This thread gives you some helpful advice and guidance about how to get the best feedback from fellow members.
Hello Joanna. I hope you find being part of this forum both helpful and enjoyable. Please do post up some of your images and ask people to provide comment.

Hi my name is Janice.
I stumbled across your site while trying to get my head around two shots of water that I had taken using different shutter speeds to freeze the action.
This was the first site where I actually understood what was being explained and the interactive sections really helped. So as you can tell I am not very technically minded but just love taking photos, to the extent that I lug my Canon 600d, stock 18-50mm and a Tamron 70-300mm everywhere with me, even down to the shop and back.
I currently live in Turkey so most of my photos are of new experiences and the nature around me and I share my photos via several blogs that I started up over the last few years.
Hello my name is Ron and I was an elevator man for 25 years in San Francisco. I am retired and move every two years within the U.S, so I can see and photograph.
That's a wonderful way of seeing the world as you start developing your 'eye' for photography. You can then keep seeing things in that way when you get amongst familiar scenery.
Great to have you here, Janice.
One of the strengths of this site, from what many others have a written, is that the tutorials are amongst the best that there are, plus the willingness of people on this forum to share knowledge and experience and take time to help others learn. So I hope you enjoy being involved for a long time to come.
Great to have you here Ron.
By the way - If you wish you can go to Edit Profile and put in your location, even if it's pretty generic such as 'USA' so that it appears in the sidebar alongside your message, just like mine beside this message, and everyone can see where in the world you are.
Hi I'm Heather and have finally reached a stage in my life where I can devote more time to my photography, I've been using a DSLR camera for the past four years and very recently have been lucky enough to move up to a full frame camera. I love being out and about with my camera and dogs but have not yet got to grips with editing etc. Still have loads to learn but loving the journey.
You lucky person. I envy you!
And that is the key. Hold on to that and you'll carry on enjoying your photography. When you think you know it all, that's the time to find a new hobby.
Great to have you here Heather. I hope you enjoy being part of CiC and that you find it fun as well as useful. If you have any questions about how the forum operates, just call out!
Hello
I'm Marco, I live in Brazil, South America and the city of São Paulo, got a 70D - EFS18 STM-135mm and EF 50mm 1.8. I am enrolled in a photography course 800 hours, I'm beginner and I am enthusiastic about photography in general. And to seek an instructional site I came across this and thought the best.
Thank you,
Marco.
Thank you, Marco. I hope that you find being part of this forum contributes to your learning also and that you find members helpful with the advice and guidance that they offer.

Hi, my name is Cindy and I am glad to have found your site. I found you through a Lightroom class I am taking online. Lately, my goal is to round up all my photos and do a better job of cataloging and accessing my thousands of digital photos taken since 1999 when we started with Mavica's. Now my husband and I both have Canon T5i's and share a variety of lenses. My favorite right now is the 28-135. His is the 100 macro. I subscribed to Adobe creative cloud for photographers, so I am learning Photoshop as well. I have used Paintshop Pro since the early days, but not been as happy with it the last few years. Time to learn Photoshop anyway. I can see uses for both and will probably keep them both. Look forward to poking around and seeing what goes on here. Cindy
