Hi,

My name is Kurt Barbara and I a new to this forum.

Recently I bought the low spec Fujifilm Finepix s4500 camera and I need some assistance on how can I improve the quality of movie recordings. Mainly I use the camera to take photos of fireworks and also videos of the fireworks.

Last year I have taken this video but I am not really satisfied about the quality of such video.

I know that such camera is limited but could someone tell me the best settings for taking videos of fireworks please. I am planning to buy another camera in the near future but for now I am out of budget.

I see you have already posted your questions into the Digital Cameras & Equipment section of the forum, whcih i think is the correct and sensible thing to do. More people who might be able to offer a reply will see it there. However, you should note that this is primarily a forum for still photographers and not so many people will be able to provide suggestions about movie-making.

By the way - If you wish you can go to Edit Profile and put in your location, so that it appears in the sidebar alongside your message, just like mine beside this message. Then everybody knows where everybody else is.

Also, you say your name is Kurt Barbara. You have written your Username as Barbara Kurt. It will help members if they know how to properly address you. LOCATION - Put yourself on our members map on Google. But please check the security aspects when you do this CiC Google map

CONDUCT - The general emphasis here is on support and learning. To do that, we often give detailed criticism on shots, where people have asked for it. We always try to do that in a fair, polite, and balanced manner. We also have a lot of fun on here, making humorous comments with one another. But again, it's nearly always done in a friendly manner, softened with the use of smilies.

Hi all, Just joined you tonight. I'm an Ex, Pro Photographer, that specialised in "Still Life". I had a studio in Croydon, SE London, England, useing "Sinar" Large format cameras with "Bron" Lighting. All thats gone now, and I only have a "Canon G12". I have just bought a Kaavie Pro, Macro rail, to use with "Photo Stacking". Something that I have a great interest in. I used to love going out into the woods to shoot "landscape" with my "Sinar" gear. I could take over an hour to shoot just one Image! Also, I loved taking "Steep Perspective" Shots.

Found this site to be a gold mine of valuable information,I'm having a little problem with my DOF which I hope to correct soon.I am a contributor at Can Stock Photography and though there not as picky as the other stock photography site I still get a lot of rejects due to lack of DOF.

I need urgent help.
I have a Canon 60D.
I have a SanDisk 64GB Extreme Plus Memory Card
I have some photos on my memory card which I am able to view on Camera and download to Computer successfully.
However this morning I took more photos (added to the memory card) and I can view on Camera however NOT on computer.
Please help.
