My name is Anthony. Born in Dublin, Ireland, I now live in Pathhead, near Edinburgh, recently retired after working as a management consultant in India and the Middle East.
I'm hoping to make photography (Still Life, Landscape, Lightroom) my main interest. I have so far collected the following equipment to make the most of my pursuit;

- Camera: Canon 10D (Like me, retired) Plus Canon 7D and 60D.
- Lens: EF-S 10-22, 17-55, 55-250, 24. EF 40.

All in need of more frequent use!

Hi everyone! My name is Maryna and I am new to photography. I am excited to be part of this group and I hope to learn a lot here. I am not a native English speaker and hope you forgive me my eventual mistakes :).

If I could figure out how to introduce myself and post my inquire I would, for now all I can determine to do is reply to the welcome post from Dave .. so .. thank you for welcoming me, I have been a member for a long time and never posted for the reason I had stated .. how to .. anyway I am going slide over to the articles side now and see if I can find anything which speaks to my question before retreat to the sidelines. FYI - trying to determine the best way to judge the value of pixel density when 2016 sensors are all pretty much above 16mp (1" to FF) and most live in the 20-24mp range with a number of FF at 30-50mp.

Is it still a pure numbers game .. I am thinking not?

Hallo, another new member. Ben Hawkins living Somerset, UK. Currently doing a photography course. I am nearly 80 but keen to learn more! I have a Fujifilm X-2Es and other cameras. Interested in photographing landscape, portrait and my wife's hand made jewellery.

Hello All,
My name is Ed Mikalonis, I live in Northern New Jersey, USA about 70 miles west of New York City. I’ve been taking photographs for longer than I care to admit. However, I’m the first to admit that I have a lot to learn. That’s what attracted me to Cambridge in Colour, I think there is a lot that can be learned here in a constructive atmosphere. I look forward to participating in the forums and sharing some of my photographs.

If you are Simon (I'm presuming male), you might want to edit your profile for the benefit of avoiding confusion and being called Simone.

Could you click Settings (right at the top),
then Edit Profile (on left)
and put just your first name in the Real Name field
and where you are (Sydney, Australia) in the Location field,
then click the Save Changes button below and to right,
this helps everyone give you more personal and relevant answers - thanks in advance.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I use a Nikon D7000.

My lens include: Nikon 18-200mm, Nikon 35mm f/1.8, Tokina 12-24mm, and a Nikon 70-300mm which I picked up recently.

When I travel I like to keep it light and take a Nikon P7100 which has a 28-200mm lens.
