Hi. My Name is Brian. I love Photography. First of all I'm a Christian. I'm married and my wife supports me in this. I use a D700 Nikon and a D7100 camera. I have a few Pro lenses and two 900 flashes. I have done wedding but my last couple was a nightmare. I have a website in which a friend set it up for a very reasonable price. If anyone is interested please check it out.

You'll have to compare notes with Richard (rpcrowe) who is an ex-navy photographer with some stories to tell (though nowadays rescuing dogs is his passion). Hi, I live in Utah,USA, Grew up in Wyoming on a cattle and sheep ranch. Yes we raised both. 31 years military service starting with Viet Nam. I shoot and collect Pentax, now using a K-30 and a K-1. I have about 75 Pentax bodies 110 to 6x7 and close to 50 lenses. Mostly landscapes are my choice to shoot. Southern Utah and Northern Arizona are my go to places to shoot.

Welcome to CiC. Learning and helping each other is what we are all about here, so you have come to the right place. There are lots of photographers here, of different levels of experience and interested in a very wide range of subjects, so you are bound to find people with shared interests.

I'm JuliM. I live in Barcelona.
I've always loved photography and one year ago I've started to get seriously involved making photos.
I own a Fujifilm X100 and an Olympus XZ-2 both purchased second hand.
I also own a Nokia N8 smartphone and I use a lot its excellent camera.
I must say that I am very new to photography and that I'm learning through lots of reading and practicing.
I'm glad to have found CiC site, and I hope that this community will help me learning more.

Hello all.... My name is Chris, i'm from the UK but currently working in Abu Dhabi. I was directed to this site by some guys at Amateur Photographer as I wanted to speed up my learning and get better at just about everything.

My favorite type of photography is street although I enjoy action, candid and just getting into some portrait stuff.

I used to be a keen photographer in my youth until my cameras were stolen in Madrid (that was 35mm film)...then again from my house in the UK so not had a lot of luck. Hope it goes better from now on and since November this is my first real attempt at digital.

I have a question about the competitions...do they have a monthly theme or is it anything so long as its taken in that month? Having checked the site I cant see anywhere where it mentions the theme.

Hello, I stumbled on this website while i was looking for GIMP tutorial on vignetting. I'm from Maryland, USA but Mr Trump is definitely not my president.......I've been on several Photo Websites/Forums but currently inactive for years now. I've owned/used different brands of DSLR's in the past but right now i'm only using a couple of Canon P&S's- Elph150 IS and S2 IS. It's a downgrade but i just need something light to carry with me wherever i go...

I volunteer to help sick and injured wild birds and have developed an interest in bird photography as well as enjoying landscape, nature and travel work.
