I'm Ronald living in South Africa and working in Abu Dhabi for now. Although I have been involved with manufacturing optical systems and devices for 34 years, I'm only now starting with photography and are pretty much a newbie.
I recently bought a Fuji X-T3 an Canon EOS77D. I hope to learn and share with all here.

If you're starting out it's well worth having a look at the tutorials on this site, they should get you off on the right lines. Good to see you're posting already with your nice shot of Abu Dhabi.

Mainly interested in landscapes as I'm a bit of a bushwalker, but architecture and civil engineering structures are a couple of other areas of interest. Currently trying to wade my through learning how to drive the D7500.

I have the D7100, at least two generations before the 7500, but I'm sure it's a great camera.

If you get stuck on anything with the D7500, you can always ask for clarification here, we are a helpful bunch.
