Thank you. I achieved this look by stacking a red and blue gradient filter. I slightly off set them to create the variations in the sky's colors.

Thanks for explaining that. I use neutral grads in some of my work, but have never shot with coloured grads.

Very nice image Rob, When you mentioned doing as much as you can with the camera in another thread my first thought was filters. I am a big fan of this method.

That was a perfect touch that I thought about doing myself but then a a guy came down the beach and walked right in front of my. Luckily his dog was running around higher up on the beach and didn't ruin the foot prints.

Sounds like the filters used in the days of old film photography...I have a lot of them in 55mm that have been shelved since I turned digital...
